Spend Saturday Mornings at the Old Beach Farmers Market in Virginia Beach

For some Saturday morning shopping fun, head to the Old Beach Farmers Market. Nestled six blocks from the beach, it's where you can "discover the taste of fresh, seasonal fare." Here are some of what this farmers market has to offer near our apartments in Virginia Beach.

Everling Coastal Farm

John and Debbie Everling founded the Everling Coastal Farm in 2016 to produce organically grown microgreens for local restaurants. A few years later, they read about the benefits of pecan oil. Today, along with the microgreens, the couple also offers artisan oils that are pressed and bottled here in Virginia Beach.

Fresh Crunch Food

When Matt Bressan was growing up, his father ran a social catering operation. When he decided to follow in his dad's culinary footsteps, Fresh Crunch Food was born. It's known for serving some of the best pickles in Virginia. Whether you're looking for something sweet, smoky, spicy, or savory, the shop has them all.

Lamia's Crepes

Lamia lived in Paris as a child. She learned the art of crepe making from her babysitter and enjoyed making this French favorite for her family and friends. Today, she owns Lamia's Crepes, where she shares her creations with others. Choices may include goat cheese, strawberry & banana, and cinnamon & cream cheese.

Buck & Bramble

At Buck & Bramble, Kevin Anderson specializes in making artisan and rustic bar soaps. He uses fresh, locally-sourced goat's milk and other quality ingredients. The soaps are gentle and moisturizing, and there is something for everyone. Scents include lavender mint, honeysuckle vine, and lemon verbena.

Before heading to the farmers market, enjoy an iced coffee at a Virginia Beach cafe. Finally, to call The Apartments at Spence Crossing home, please contact us. We would love to show you everything our luxury apartments in Virginia Beach have to offer.
